Happy belated Presidents Day to the ever amazing *comic-chic!

Say hello to Mr. Jefferson! - or more commonly known as the third president of the United States of America, or more affectionately known as "TJ."

Mr. Jefferson is sporting a removeable jacket with classy 18th century buttons, a silk tie made with a horseshoe knitting stitch, powdered hair with a hair bow, and a nice seed stitch vest! He has been THE MOST complicated amigurumi I have made to date, and he's been SO FUN!!! *pets hair*

"So... I showed Mike the TJ pics you sent me yesterday and... Okay best response ever. It was an instantaneous, gutteral belly laugh and he literally threw himself back in his chair laughing.

He couldn't stop laughing and when he finally did I said, "What did you expect?"

He said "I don't know... you kept saying a knitted Thomas Jefferson."

I said, "Yeah, that's what it is."

He said, "But this... this is fantastic.""



And a customer saw me sewing him on Monday, asked me who I was knitting, and when I told her, she asked me "Who's Thomas Jefferson?" *slaps forhead*
